NewVersion 0.1.4
Your phone, on your computer.
Without a browser tab.
Portal for computers starts with the computer and waits for your phone. Share a photo on the phone and it's already in Pictures.
Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit · 106 MB · Free · Other systems
What's new
Send from the phone's share menu, find it in the right folder.
Share → Portal
On Android, Portal is in the share menu: photos go straight to the computer, without opening anything.
Sorted by type
Photos land in Pictures › Portal, PDFs and Word files in Documents › Portal. No more digging in Downloads.
Send from iPhone
A Shortcut puts “Send to Portal” in the iPhone's share menu. Set it up once from the app.
Lid closed, still there
Plugged in, the computer stays reachable with the lid closed (Linux). It never sleeps on its own while Portal runs.

Click “More info” → “Run anyway”. The app isn't signed yet; it's the same Portal as on the site.
On your phone
Nothing from an app store
No app store: Portal installs from the browser in a few seconds and updates by itself.
